School Structure

The Formative Years (Pre-Nursery, Nursery, KG)

The first few years that children spend in school are extremely critical in their development and also influence their attitude towards the school in general and studies in particular.

With this understanding, Montessori Cambridge School lays great emphasis on providing our younger children with a friendly, warm, and homely environment. The classrooms are well equipped and brightly decorated to exude a feeling of belonging.

An Activity Centre and Play Park provides areas for leisure and relaxation for the little ones outside their classrooms. The teaching at this level is activity based and modern methods of teaching like play way and role play are extensively used for imparting education.

The Junior School (Class I-V)

The junior school is the first step forward for our little ones as they enter Class-I.

The basic inputs that the child has been provided at the formative stage are consolidated at this level as the student becomes capable of understanding basic concepts of the various subjects.

The classrooms and infrastructure have been carefully selected to ensure that the sense of belonging created in the early years carries on with the child as he moves to the junior school. Various co-curricular and extra-curricular activities are introduced at this level and the children are encouraged to explore their creativity and individual talent.

The Middle School (Class VI-VIII)

When the child enters Class VI, the school helps him make the transition from a protected environment to one where he develops his individuality and personality.

The child is also encouraged to develop his interest in specific subjects as per his aptitude and potential so that in the later years he may specialize in his chosen areas.

The curriculum includes English, Hindi, Mathematics, Science, Social Sciences, Arts, Music, and a third optional language.

The Senior School (Class IX-X)

The Senior School student must prepare for the first major examination of his/her life, the CBSE Board Examinations of Class X.

At this level the school will strive to provide a scholarly yet stress-free environment to enable the student to achieve the goals and standards.

The teachers at this stage would be recognized experts in their field so that the students can be provided every opportunity to excel at their academics. The senior school children also take the first step into adulthood and need adequate guidance and counseling from all concerned, hence the teachers are encouraged to be their friend, philosopher and guide.

The Senior Secondary School (Class XI-XII)

Moving forward to the Senior Secondary School student must prepare for the second major examination of his/her life, the CBSE Board Examinations of Class XII.

The school offers specialized courses of study in class XI and XII so that the students can be prepared for the careers that they wish to pursue later in life. Students are encouraged to set career goals for themselves.

To hone their learning and study skills as well as their interpersonal and leadership abilities, students are challenged with synthesis of differentiated coaching, assessments and trainings. In the area of career enhancement, students have opportunities to connect with mentors through our Career Counseling and Life-skills programmes, run by qualified professional teams.
