Language and Cultural Enrichment Week at MCS
MCS successfully conducted a vibrant and engaging Language and Cultural Enrichment Week, featuring a variety of activities that promoted patriotism, communication skills, and cultural appreciation among students. The week began with basic greetings, expressions, and number learning through role-play and flashcards. Students enjoyed a virtual city tour on the second day, practicing real-life conversations in practical scenarios such as shopping, dining, and using public transport. On the third day, students showcased their creativity through music, dance, and painting, focusing on patriotic themes and regional art forms. Culinary skills were explored on Day 4 as students learned about traditional spices, vegetables, and fruits, and prepared local dishes. Day 5 was dedicated to culture appreciation, listening skills, and inspiring stories about national heroes from various fields, brought alive through storytelling, puppetry, and videos. Knowledge of geography and history was reinforced on Day 6 with engaging activities related to rivers, mountains, and monuments using maps and AV tools. The week concluded on a high note with motivational performances, quizzes, and certificate distribution, highlighting the students’ enthusiasm and learning throughout the program.
